Maddie, our cat, is extremely shy and easily frightened. She came to live with us about two years ago from the RSPCA in Stretton, having been found abandoned in a builders skip, covered in fleas.
For some unknown reason she always made herself known to us when visiting the RSPCA Centre to look for a suitable animal to replace a cat and a dog that had shared our lives with us in the last few years. And so it was that we adopted Maddie and she became a house cat. Due to personal circumstances we moved around quite alot in the first six months of having her and she always hid out of sight whenever we had visitors - never venturing out until she knew that they had gone. Last summer we were invited to a family get together in Kent and we sought Leannes help - having found her details on a card in a local fish and chip shop. Not too sure how things might go we invited Leanne to our home to meet up with Maddie and to see how they would each react to one another and, almost instantly, Maddie came to see who this stranger was in our midst. And strangers they are no longer since they each took a liking to one another. It is difficult, at the best of times, from personal experience to let a complete stranger into your home as well as to care for a much loved pet but once you have met Leanne all that will change. Leanne has a wonderful friendly nature, is very thorough in her assessments and most trustworthy. She always catches up with us before each holiday break to find out if anything has changed since her last visit. Thank you, Leanne, from us all, for your care and attention to Maddie whilst we are away and for the texts that always follow a visit updating us on how she is. We can thoroughly recommend the services of 'The Cat Feeder' and hope that the time spent away from your cat will be rewarding for all concerned as it has been for us. Leanne looked after our two 17 year old cats, Meg and Magic, and they took to her immediately as part of the family. Leanne also watered our outdoor plants. Well recommended. Alan and Ann Parsons. Stretton |
